I’m Simon, and I’m from Bielefeld. I love cycling and use my city bike regularly in everyday life.
For a long time I had a small but really annoying problem: as soon as it gets dark, I can no longer read the gear indicator on my shifter. As a result, I often end up cross-chaining without noticing because I don’t know which gear I’m in. I’ve even stopped under streetlights just to check. At some point I asked myself: why isn’t there a simple light for this?
That question is exactly where the idea for Draismo came from. I wanted to create a small, straightforward solution that makes the gear indicator visible in the dark — without modifying the shifters and without unnecessary complexity. What started as a personal problem is something I’m now developing as my own product. With Draismo, I want to make cycling just a little easier.
